We’ve all see things every days that have an emotional response, be it a picture of your children, mum, nana, a lost loved one be they human or animal. “Pictures say a thousand words” is the quote but my quote is “The eyes are the conduit to the heart”.
In my experience as a marketing consultant it isn’t always the story a picture tells that’s important, it’s the truth it shares. A picture in real estate with a person or dog in it gets several hundred more clicks on a computer/ hand held device than one that doesn’t. Does it make it sell faster, “well you can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear!” but it does get it more attention. The NT News does this with Front page Croc’s and wild-life including the locals.

Currently we are under financial attack from our federal government, Federal Minister Scott Morrison in Particular. In September Last year, Territorians’s voted to stop Fracking, it was an election issue. ........ But so was the Sale of TIO. Failure to adhere to the needs and wants of the public led to the massacre of the CLP. The Labor party has announced an investigation into the viability of Fracking.
I spoke to an ex –Minister today who insinuated that the actions they were taking would lead to a paper espousing the economic virtues and a green light to Fracking.

We were provided details of the despicable and abhorrent failure of foreign and Australian owned Mining companies failing to pay royalties to the Native title holders let alone in several circumstances, failing to pay tax to the Australian people.
My message to the Gunner government is, Territorian’s have spoken, if you fail to listen, not only will you be removed either at or before the next election, but just as the swings were historic last time they will be again. You were elected to represent and fight for the people.

These are the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Flags, some see this and feel pride, some fear and some anger but this flag created an identity and gave the people a voice and changed the world.
I want to remind you the Gunner Governments of what a Great Australian Prime Minister – Paul Keating once addressed the Australian People and said
We may not have succeeded in that decade…. It is a battle we the Australian people will continue to fight internally for years to come “to fight against ignorance and to educate our nation”. To expand our cultural respect and prosperity not sell our countries resources and benefits for mere cents on the dollar.
We are Territorians, we are Darwinites, we are the caretakers and protectors of the Australian Culture and the brothers and sisters, neighbours , friends and family of the First People of our Nation and we are ready for a fight.
