Analysis of the (NT) Green Party's Crime Policies in the Northern Territory

The Green Party's proposals to tackle crime in the Northern Territory are probably well-intentioned but fundamentally flawed. Their policies, underpinned by Marxist, communist, and globalist ideologies, prioritise collective over individual rights and fail to address the core issues effectively. Drawing on the principles of judicial philosophers, economists, psychologists, and security experts, lets dissect why these policies are likely to be detrimental to the people of the Northern Territory.

1. Right to a Safe and Peaceful Existence

While the goal of ensuring a safe and peaceful existence is noble, the Green Party's approach is misguided. Effective crime prevention requires a robust legal and law enforcement system that deters criminal behaviour through certainty and swiftness of punishment. The emphasis on "ecologically sustainable existence" dilutes the focus from the immediate need for safety and security. Crime prevention should prioritise the protection of individuals and property rights, not abstract ecological concerns.

2. Rule of Law and Protection of Human Rights

The protection of human rights is paramount, but the Green Party's policies risk undermining the rule of law by promoting restorative justice at the expense of punitive measures. A balanced justice system must incorporate both punitive and restorative elements. Excessive focus on the latter can lead to a perception of leniency, reducing the deterrent effect of the justice system.

3. Separation of Powers

The separation of powers is indeed crucial for maintaining democracy and freedom. However, the Green Party's call for courts and tribunals to be independent must be accompanied by a respect for the principles of justice that ensure public safety. Policies that excessively emphasise rights over responsibilities lead to a judicial system that fails to protect citizens effectively. I personally hate tribunals, they remind me of the activist systems used in Russia and Germany to attack minorities, in the NT the CAT has removed justice from the equation altogether and often activist delegates with revisionist ideas and ideologies seek to impose orders that have nothing to do with legislation. These were a very well documented part of the Gulag system in communist Russia and also have been used by the CCP to impose harsh penalties on their opponents.

4. Equality Before the Law

While recognising cultural, social, and economic influences on decision-making is important, the application of the law must remain impartial and consistent. Policies that overly emphasise cultural sensitivities lead to unequal application of justice, undermining the principle of equality before the law. Individual responsibility must remain at the forefront of any justice system. It reminds me of the equity based policies of the communist party…. Um we don't have that many people to kill here, so maybe not.

5. Fair Hearing and Justice Access

The fundamental principles of a fair hearing must be upheld, but they should not be used as a shield for criminal behaviour. Ensuring competent representation and the right to silence are vital, but these rights must be balanced with the need for effective law enforcement. Overemphasis on the rights of the accused can lead to a justice system that fails to deliver justice for victims. The reality is criminals behind bars don't harm the public.

6. Role of Whistle-Blowers

The protection of whistleblowers is crucial for uncovering corruption, but it should not be extended to undermine law enforcement efforts. There must be clear guidelines to ensure that whistle-blower protections are not misused to shield criminal activities.

7. Overcoming Inequalities

Addressing social, economic, and cultural inequalities is essential, but crime policies must not be held hostage to these broader social goals. Effective crime prevention requires targeted interventions that address the immediate causes of criminal behaviour, rather than broad social engineering projects.

8. Addressing Cultural and Social Needs of Indigenous Peoples

The justice system must be sensitive to the cultural and social needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. However, this should not lead to a dual legal system that applies different standards to different groups. Equal treatment under the law is a cornerstone of justice. This is how mobs impose segregation and honestly its just bloody racist. Unfortunately most greenies I've met have been well intentioned bigots, maybe its a cult thing?

9. Historical Injustices

Acknowledging historical injustices is important, but policies must focus on current realities and practical solutions. The emphasis should be on creating opportunities and support systems that enable individuals to succeed, rather than perpetuating a victim mentality. Greenies love Victimhood.

10. Social Cohesion and Crime Reduction

While a fairer and more inclusive society can reduce crime, the policies proposed by the Green Party risk undermining individual initiative and responsibility. Economic equality achieved through coercive redistribution stifles the incentives that drive personal and societal growth. A society that rewards hard work and innovation is more likely to achieve sustainable social cohesion.

Aims of the Green Party: A Critical Examination

1. Impartial Courts and Tribunals

The independence of courts is crucial, but they must also be empowered to enforce laws effectively. Policies should ensure that courts have the resources and mandate to deliver swift and certain justice. Not activism tho.

2. International Legal Obligations

While adhering to international obligations is important, domestic policies must prioritise the safety and security of local communities. International norms should not override effective local law enforcement strategies.

3. Politically Motivated Campaigns

The call to end politically motivated law and order campaigns is valid, but it should not result in the undermining of necessary law enforcement measures. Public safety should not be sacrificed for political correctness.

4. Community Legal Centres and Legal Aid

Securing funding for legal aid is essential, but it should not lead to an imbalance where the rights of offenders are prioritised over those of victims. Both criminal and civil justice systems must be adequately resourced to ensure comprehensive access to justice.

5. Human Rights and Restorative Justice

A human rights-compliant justice system must also incorporate effective punitive measures. Restorative justice must complement, but not rreplace, the need for deterrence and accountability.

6. Multidisciplinary Approach to Crime Reduction

An evidence-based approach to crime reduction is commendable, but it must include strong deterrent measures. Addressing the underlying causes of crime is necessary, but immediate and effective law enforcement is equally important.

7. Alternatives to Imprisonment

While alternatives to imprisonment can be effective for minor offences, serious crimes require incarceration to protect society and deter future offences. Diversionary programs should not replace the necessary role of prisons. They also require massive investment in compliance and enforcement, that in the NT in particular have a history of failure leading to a mass killing and other offences.

8. Rehabilitation and Education in Prisons

Providing quality rehabilitation and education in prisons is great, but it must be part of a broader strategy that includes effective deterrence and law enforcement. Recidivism can only be reduced through a combination of rehabilitation and accountability. An individual chooses to change, it can not be forced, even by a MOB. You push, people push back. The very real evidence against MOB mentality is well documented, but I'm sure many Greenies still believe in those pesky Witches.

9. Judicial Discretion and Mandatory Sentencing

Judicial discretion is important, but it should not undermine the consistency of sentencing. Mandatory sentencing can ensure that serious crimes receive appropriate punishment, serving as a strong deterrent.

10. Customary Law

Taking customary law into account might be beneficial, but it must not lead to unequal application of justice. The primary focus should be on ensuring that all individuals are treated equally under the law. In the NT the judiciary has turned a blind eye to spearings, beatings and worse, including child marriages, due to revisionist ideals of those promoting "Culture" as an excuse for bad behaviour,

11. Family Law System

A fair and accessible family law system is essential, but it must prioritise the best interests of the child and ensure that justice is served in all cases.

12. Royal Commission Recommendations

Implementing the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody is important, but it must be done in a way that strengthens law enforcement and public safety.

Honestly, trusting Judges and lawyers who are financially incentivised by the rise in crime and injustice is like asking a bunch of pedos to design a child care center. The royal commission has been great for criminals, lawyers, judges and NGOs but the harm and victimisation they have imposed should be dealt with.

13. Over-Representation of Indigenous Peoples

Addressing the overrepresentation of Indigenous peoples in the justice system requires targeted interventions that address both social and legal factors. Broad policy changes must not undermine the enforcement of laws. Yep, target one group, incentivize segregation, and promote social disharmony by focusing on one group…. Remember what I said about bigots, its a cult thing. Aboriginal people are not vulnerable and don't require even more systemic racism by a group of "better than thou" wannabe communist dictators. Aboriginal people need respect, not special treatment and through fair opportunity they will assimilate to more reasonable and regulated behaviour.

14. Decriminalisation of Consensual Adult Sex Work

Decriminalising consensual adult sex work can reduce crime in this area, but it must be accompanied by strong regulations to protect vulnerable individuals and prevent exploitation.

15. Privacy Protection

Strengthening citizens' privacy protection is important, but it must be balanced with the needs of law enforcement to ensure public safety.

16. Racial Profiling

Prohibiting racial profiling is stupid and does not work it hinders effective policing. Law enforcement must be able to use all available tools to prevent and address crime. Not have some sort of social programming from well-intentioned academics that have never achieved one correct theory in their entire lives. Honestly, profiling is a massive requirement for security and safety, but then again, it allows me to profile the often mentally delusional, bigoted and ignorant when they tell me they are a greeny, so I get why you want to end it.

17. Gun Law Reform

Progressing gun law reform is necessary to enhance public safety, but it must be done in a way that respects individual rights and ensures effective enforcement. Yep more guns, the only way to stop a bad person with a gun is a good person with a gun, we need more good people with guns.

18. Electroshock Weapons and Tasers

Restricting the use of electroshock weapons and Tasers can enhance public trust, but it must not compromise the ability of police to protect themselves and the public in dangerous situations. I think any political candidate should experience it first…. It sucks but it honestly isn't that bad in the hands of professionals. Batons kill far more people globally than tazers.

19. Judicial Independence

Ensuring the tenure of judges and magistrates is crucial for judicial independence according to most thinkers, but it must be accompanied by accountability measures to ensure that justice is effectively served. The reality is activist judges need to have some sort of measure for removal. If a judge allows a child to be sexualised by the government or some other socially delusional misfot or deviate, then that child parents reserve the right to defend their child from those sicko's.

20. Litigants' Capacity to Seek Compensation

Protecting litigants' capacity to seek compensation is important, but it must not lead to frivolous lawsuits that undermine the justice system. We do not want to be America, compensation should not be punitive.

21. Whistleblower Protection

Strengthening whistleblower protections is essential, but it must be balanced with the need to ensure effective law enforcement.

22. Age of Criminal Responsibility

Setting a uniform national age of criminal responsibility at 14 years it utterly reprehensible. The NT saw an increase in juvenile crime by almost 30% when the increase went from 10 to 12. Honestly, this idea alone should be ridiculed anytime you mention law and order.

23. Right to Vote and Incarceration

It's crucial to make sure that those who commit serious crimes receive just punishment. Allowing criminals to vote rewards bad behaviour. If you reward bad behaviour, you get more of it.

The Green Party's crime policies, while maybe well-intentioned, are rooted in ideological frameworks that prioritise collective rights over individual responsibility and fail to address the immediate needs for public safety and effective law enforcement. A balanced approach, grounded in the principles of effective deterrence, accountability, and individual responsibility, is essential for creating a safe and just society in the Northern Territory.

I give their policies a D- and its reasonable looking at the failures in the education system and the propaganda of the Australian Media that this type of fringe party will attain greater followings as many Australians experience even greater neurological damage due to compliance with government mandates. I used to like the Green conservative ideas on nature, but looking at their crime policies, its hard not to recognise a death cult when one see one. I suppose if Territorians wish to see our current welfare state turn into a Gulag, then the Greens are the party to choose. I still don't understand why Labor seeks to align with them, as they are so anti-people and workers, and given the Labor parties strong ties with Aboriginal representation, the segregation promoted by the Greens should be a RED Flag, but then again, they might just think they are their own, based on colour alone.
